What to do and see in Vouliagmeni Athens

Perhaps the most beautiful suburb of Attica, Vouliagmeni is a natural green paradise. A five-star destination, both for its cosmopolitan character and for its beauty.

Just 23 kilometers from Athens, Vouliagmeni – in addition to its green areas – also has a long and narrow cape, Laimos, which divides the coast into two bays with wonderful sandy beaches.

It has curative sulphurous and crystal clear waters – 6 to 7 degrees warmer than the sea with which it communicates underground – which was formed after the roof of the cave collapsed, which was eroded by the high temperature of the water that ran inside it.

You can enjoy swimming in the Lake, but diving is prohibited, because there are sea caves in which many divers have lost their lives. The lake of Vouliagmeni is a World Natural Monument.

In the area you will see the iconic, cosmopolitan and popular Asteras Vouliagmenis within 300 acres of pine-covered land, which is preferred by the international and global elite.

Enjoy your swim in Kavouri, a small peninsula just before Vouliagmeni with many beautiful stretches of beach and choose either a pebble beach or a sand beach, but also pass by the Vouliagmeni Coast, where you will find yourself on a green coast -awarded with a blue flag- with clear waters and golden sand. There you can indulge in various activities such as rackets, tennis, basketball, volleyball and beach volley, which will raise your adrenaline to the highest level.
